Featured on KByeee.com. This was a fun little shoot in Mustang, OK, at a local park where they have a miniature windmill set up. The wind in Oklahoma is fierce all year round, and more and more investors are trying to harvest this wind energy to use for sustainable power in the region, but the classic windmill design featured here hearkens back to a simpler pioneer time, when sustainability was a personal matter. The rugged look of the vintage windmill and the light colors of dead yellow grass contrast wonderfully with Kylee’s business slacks and shiny shoes. In the edited image above, an old world ruggedness collides with a new age sensibility and mystique.
Here are some unedited images, which were featured on the blog. I love that Kylee always strives to show her readers untouched images, insuring that her true beauty, and not aftereffects, shine through.
